On the behalf of Indian Society for Radiation Biology (ISRB), I welcome you on the web page of the Society. Indian Society for Radiation Biology (ISRB) is an integrative scientific body whose members are interested in fundamental and applied R&D on radiation sciences and related areas of radiation sciences. ISRB has achieved remarkable progress since its inception and is further progressing at a rapid pace during the past few years. The major aim of the society is to promote and support research activities and education in various areas of radiation biology and allied sciences. The society organizes conferences, symposia, workshops, awareness programs in various parts of country and invites participation of research scientists, clinicians, research scholars, students and general public. ISRB also works towards generating awareness about radiation and cancer and promotes R&D in these areas. The society holds Biennial International Conference on Radiation Biology. During SILVER JUBLEE year 2014, the 13th biennial meeting of ISRB, the International Conference was hosted by INMAS, DRDO at Delhi. I appreciate the valuable support of all the members and office bearers of ISRB extended towards nurturing this important and largest Indian Scientific Society in the field of Radiation Biology.
