Upcoming International Conference on Radiation Biology (ICRB -2023) under the auspices of ISRB
&
16 th Biennial meeting f Indian Society for Radiation Biology

The theme of ICRB-2023 is “Applications of Radiation and Relevance of Radiobiological Studies in
Public Health”. ICRB-2023 will be held at KS Hegde Medical Academy, Nitte (Deemed to be
University), under the auspices of Indian Society for Radiation Biology. It is hoped that leading
Radiation Biologists from India and abroad will attend the conference and share their latest research.

The conference venue is KS Hegde Medical Academy, Deralakatte, Mangaluru - an important port city
of Karnataka state. Rolling hills, coconut palms, freshwater streams and hard red-clay tiled-roof
buildings characterize the city's landscape. Many classical dance forms, such as the Yakshagana,
Pilivesha (Tiger dance), and Karadi Vesha (bear dance), are integral parts of the city's cultural
landscape. The organizing committee would try its best to make “ICRB-2023” a conference rich in
scientific content and memorable cultural events. We urge you all not to miss the opportunity to
participate in the conference and enjoy the cultural heritage of this region, along with your near and
dear ones.

The ISRB wishes to encourage the participation of young scientists and research scholars to present
their research work. There are opportunities for young scholars to apply for various awards and
prizes. The entries will be selected for awards and prizes after due evaluation by panels of subject
experts.
